Concept Art & Research
Working on the concepts for the pitch, I ran through many different ideas on how to bring my film to life. The goal was to display an animated piece in the Muru Giligu, a tunnel located within the Martin Place Metro Station. Below highlights my process for it.
Direction & Boards
Apart from drawing boards for the film, I guided my background artist and animators on how the backgrounds and animation needed to look to elevate the film. The example used for the animation notes is for the eagle.
Animation
The main role, apart from directing, was animation. The animation here was for the kangaroo and the emu jumping sequence. It was my first time animating bipedals who moved like them, so it was a fulfilling experience.
