Production
Missed Connection was one of the few projects I had the pleasure of working on as a producer. It was a film with incredible ambition and heart. I led a team of 8, along with my director, and was tasked with steering us towards our goal.
During the early phases of production, I pushed the team to finish as much of our pre-production as possible before the start of the semester. This occurred while I learned ShotGrid, eventually leading me to teach my team. I maintained documentation while spearheading meetings, ensuring the team was always on the right path. I introduced a standardised naming convention to the team, allowing for the management of hundreds of assets to be simple. I developed Gantt Charts and Production Schedules so our course of action was always known, and a Shot List using conditional formatting on Excel. All in all, I couldn't have asked for a better team to work with. I am proud of everything we accomplished, for we were a team who always went above and beyond our expectations.
Concept Art
I worked on many of the environments and props during the pre-production of the film. Some of the important ones included the train, the subway, and the plane, 3 central areas of the film. I also assisted with prop direction and how they should look.
Layout Breakdown
